Returns  —

All sales are final on VINTAGE + USED items.  

VINTAGE + USED items are sold AS IS - no returns or exchanges

SALE items are final sale.  This includes items marked down as well as sitewide sales.

UPCYCLED + NEW items can be returned/exchanged within 7 days.  Please not we are a small business and may take a day or two to get back to you - so as long as you reach out within 7 days we will honor your return.  We prefer an exchange over returns as it affects us greatly as a small business.

Online Domestic orders of NEW and UPCYCLED can be exchanged if contacted within 7 days of receipt.  We will send a return slip and process your exchange once we've received your item to exchange.  In even exchanges we will pay for the return and exchange shipping.

Domestic Online returns - proceeded within 7 days of receipt -  will be refunded once we receive the garment.  If the buyer would like we will issue a return shipping label we can.  Once the return is received we will reimburse the cost of the garment minus the return shipping cost. 

International orders of NEW and UPCYCLED are final sale as the cost of shipping is typically as much as the order.  In case of an error in shipping the wrong goods please contact us to find the best solution.

Vintage garments can vary in size so we strongly encourage you to triple check your measurements and the garment’s measurements before purchase. Refer to our How to Measure Your Waist comic for all trousers/pants/jeans orders! 

As we’re still a small grassroots company, we cannot accept responsibility for lost, stolen, or mis-delivered packages incurred upon shipping. We are sorry if you have received the wrong item or if the item didn’t work out for you. Feel free to email us info@east-west-shop.com for any concerns!

Local Pickup —

In-store pickup is available for online orders at our Chinatown Los Angeles store during regular store hours.  Our system will pickup notification once the order is ready for pickup. 

Perfect time to grab some Chinese food too!

Domestic Shipping —

All domestic orders are shipped via USPS with Tracking. 

International Shipping —

We ship international—yay! However, it can take longer to get to you. For example, shipping your order to Australia can take a month or longer. It depends on your postal delivery system. DHL is our preferred shipper. The service is much more expensive - but with only a couple days transit time and the package is fully trackable. We also ship with USPS - which is a more affordable rate - but can two weeks to a month. Also, the package is usually not trackable once it leaves the US. We are not liable for shipping times taking too long. If you need it quickly, pay the extra for DHL :)

Shipping prices are calculated during the check-out process and are based on quantity purchased and your location. Customs and import duties may be applied to your order when it reaches its destination. 

Items will ship from Los Angeles, California (United States), with an invoice declaring the exact total of merchandise purchased in US dollars. Insurance is optional for the customer. We do not cover return postage for returns shipments from other countries. 

Please contact the shipping service and refer to the tracking number for a more precise estimate once orders have been dispatched. 

Processing —

We are a small family business so we will do our best to ship out ASAP - Please allow 1-4 days for processing.  We ship Monday-Friday.

Orders will be shipped according to the customer's specified address. East/West Shop is not responsible for items delivered to incorrect shipping addresses. If a shipment is returned to us for any reason, the customer will be responsible for the cost to re-ship.

All shipping times are an estimate and not a guarantee. Shipping speeds for International orders are not guaranteed, but most orders arrive within the estimated window.

 

Holes —

East/West Shop is a sustainable concept shop. We believe that a hole does not ruin a garment but rather provides an opportunity for a repair. We look at holes as evidence that a garment is of the Earth - it's perfectly imperfect. The planet's resources are valuable and a hole does not mean it's ruined.  

If your garment has a particular imperfection you can't live with please contact us for repair suggestions. We're full of them!
